Under Regulation (EU) No 517/2014, you are required to maintain F-Gas log books to track the use, location, and inspection history of refrigerants on your site.

These records must show that your systems are regularly inspected for leaks and tested by an F-Gas certified engineer. Failure to comply could result in fines or invalidate warranties — especially if your system hasn't been properly serviced.

When refrigerant is removed from your commercial air conditioning system during servicing, maintenance, or decommissioning, it must be handled in line with strict environmental regulations. At Complete Cooling Services, we follow all legal protocols under Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 to ensure responsible handling and disposal.

Once refrigerant is safely recovered, we issue a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note (HWCN). This document transfers the legal responsibility for disposal to us, confirming that the refrigerant will be disposed of by certified professionals at an authorised facility.

The HWCN also serves as your official proof that hazardous waste has been managed by a competent, F-Gas certified company in full compliance with environmental regulations — protecting your business from legal risk and ensuring your commitment to sustainability.
